What is new in the Civil 3D 2025 release? 

The 2025 release has introduced some new updates to some of its features to streamline design workflows even better than previous versions: 

• Improved Corridor Workflows: The new version has made improvements in various areas of corridor workflows. For instance, you will experience high efficiency while opening, closing, and switching the corridor property dialog box.  
• Package Manager:  New Civil 3D 2025 comes with a new Package Manager dialog box that allows you to easily locate and manage packages with or without dependencies on other packages. 
• Improvements to search nodes: You can search for the specific nodes with a period. For instance, if you need to find a node from the List category that begins with the letter P, searching with “list.p” will return the result.

Autodesk Civil 3D vs AutoCAD: are they the same?  

Both are popular CAD software programs from Autodesk. In fact, when you open Civil 3D, it looks like AutoCAD. That’s because it was built upon AutoCAD. That’s where all confusion begins.
