AutoCAD MEP is AutoCAD-based software that includes features to draw, design and document MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) systems in an AutoCAD environment.
The software enables increased productivity and reduced errors through automated drawing tasks, manufacturer-defined components, and interference detection. Autodesk AutoCAD MEP, supports plumbing, mechanical and electrical engineering systems throughout the building lifecycle with reliable DWG files.

AutoCAD MEP allows to:

• Modify a design as you wish without getting in the way of other team members' work, thanks to new tools Extraction from Project Navigator and Archiving in Project Navigator that allow you to make changes outside the project structure and send notifications only after the modified files have been archived.
• Easily identify differences between the geometries of two versions of the same drawing with visual comparison.
• Quickly and easily import system definitions into drawings from the local computer, server or cloud.
• Easily find a style in multiple drawings with Style Search, which allows you to search for a style simply by entering any part of the name.
• Use the new Style Viewer that can be "docked" to the left or right edge of the Manage Styles or Edit Style dialog box.
• View changes made in real time before they are completed with the new Command Preview features for fittings, topping, wall displacements and anchored objects such as channels, walkways, pipes, ducts and so on.
• Display drawing color at the stroke more accurately with new and improved section results.
• Create additional copies of EPD backups to simplify restoration with new EPD backup creation features that let you choose how many backups you want to keep.
• Locate views and sheets more quickly with new alphabetical sorting capabilities.
